Senior Product Designer

Insight7 is building an insights platform for business professionals and we are looking for a motivated senior product designer to join our product development team. Your skills should be more than about aesthetics. We are looking for someone who understands and can apply design principles and frameworks to building efficient experiences for users.

Our platform provides real-time insights to business professionals such as product managers, designers and marketers through an easy-to-use web interface. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll lead the end-to-end design for our core product with ownership of creative vision, design strategy and execution.

You’ll work closely with the team to frame user needs and behavior, define optimized user flow, and tweak pixels before launch. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary UX, product management and engineering team to deliver thoughtful and polished design work that is grounded in solid research and validation.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

• Solid understanding of product design strategy, distilling the jobs to be done for a given user, journey mapping, wire-framing and prototyping, user testing, and high fidelity visuals.
• The ability to craft beautiful designs and delightful, useful, and usable experiences; you have strengths in visual design, interaction, and product design.
• Proficient in product design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Origami, Principal
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills; you have the ability to help your team and stakeholders understand the “why” behind your design rationale.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish a design vision, strategy and principles for our core product and accompanying features
• Working with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, marketers) to drive design vision and strategy that meets the needs of our users
• Applying strategic thinking to visualize ideas and concepts and communicate them effectively and compellingly for internal stakeholders and customers
• Running design thinking workshops and helping to guide, improve, and implement design and feedback processes
• Using facilitative leadership skills to drive to the best outcome for stakeholders, partners and customers

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₦350,000.00 - ₦500,000.00 per month
